A 34-year-old man named Nnamdi Ethelbert Ogidi has been arrested by men of the Nigerian Police for kidnapping and raping old women in Imo State. He was apprehended on May 23, while negotiating a N20 million ransom for a victim, 74-year-old Regina Nkwocha. The suspect, popularly known as Bori, reportedly told the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the state police command, that his gang had kidnapped many persons, including 15 old women.
