FCT Police Arrest Notorious Kidnappers in Abuja

 

Security operatives dismantle suspected kidnapping network in intelligence-led operation as investigations continue

Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have arrested a group of suspected kidnappers described as notorious, following an intelligence-driven operation in Abuja.

The suspects were reportedly tracked and apprehended after coordinated surveillance and intelligence gathering aimed at dismantling criminal networks operating within the FCT and its surrounding areas.

Police sources say the operation is part of ongoing efforts to curb kidnapping, armed robbery, and other violent crimes in the capital territory.

The arrested suspects are believed to be linked to a wider criminal network allegedly responsible for a series of kidnappings and attacks in Abuja and nearby communities.

Authorities stated that the operation targeted identified hideouts used by the suspects to plan and coordinate criminal activities.

The suspects are currently in custody and undergoing interrogation to determine the extent of their involvement and identify possible accomplices within the network.
